Pandemic

Sheltering in place, avoiding every sneeze, feeling the sorrow of lost connection, but we're in this together. The upsides: bike rides, live-streaming from favorites like Ben Gibbard, the dark comedy that has been creative and sharp, the love of teachers missing their students, the grace of people just being patient, just being together separately. There have been other strange times, but nothing quite like this.
